Hello Moms out there! It's your day today! Today is the 2nd Sunday of May,has been set aside in honor of motherhood.. We are all blessed to have mothers(for those who still have one). And for those who never met their mother ever, don't worry, moms are just lost in your eyes but never in your blood and soul..
I still remember when i was in higschool, and college as well. My mom wants to me to do things the way she likes. I never had the chance to be free for the things that a normal teener should do. I always thought my mom never understands what i what to tell her, what i want to make her feel. She wants me to eat vegies(which i hate my goodness), wants me to sleep in the afternoon(but i looove having movie marathon afterlunch!), and worst, my i should go home early and never go out of town. Sucks, right? And i thought i could never ever escape from the verdict of my mom. But then, now that i have graduated from college, already have my own life at the age of 18, fully free, independent and no one can stop me from doing anything as my Mom is away for quite a while now, something is really missing. I was sitting on my dinning table, looking for what i have prepared for my dinner. I just thought of something; if mom was only there, she wouldn't let me eat those kind of foods. The reason why she wants me to eat vegies specially beans is because i lack protien. That is true. And now i have realized, my mom would always be the best as she always want what's the best fro me. And i know all moms know that fact.
MOMs would always be the one to cry on, the one we want to share our laughs and firsts(yes, i also shared the first heartache i had, aww)..
A mother is the chief night watchman: her ear is fine-tuned(maybe God-given?) to hear the slightest turn of a baby in the bed, also a light whimper.
and the best of all, God expects mother to raise and nurture her "charges" to become the best they can be in this world, and equip them for what is needed to get to the other side...
